Societe Brewing

The Friday afternoon scene at this upstart brewery was sparse compared to the green flash mob down the road, but it wasn't for lack of quality. The 2 young brewers here are making world class beer.  Their Pupil, a 7.5 ipa/dipa made with Nelson and Citra hops, is golden, slightly opaque and assertively citrusy without too much bitterness. If that sounds a bit like HT thats no mistake. It's definitely headed in that direction. A standout.
Their other beers, including some Belgian-style, are excellent, based on the tasters I threw down as the family dragged me off into the twilight
