The Bier Abbey

http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Bier-Abbey/136963939674123?v=info

There sign is up but no sign of life inside. (yes I was peeking in the widows)  Dosen't look like they will make an April opening.  And what about Capital City Beer Hall isn't that to open in April.  WTF

Restaurant Ommegang

The word from both Council and Landman is the restaurant at Brewery Ommegang is open and very worth the trip.  Council had the mussels and Pommes Frites. Well Landman says the Pommes Frites were the best he ever had.  High prise indeed.  Ommegang’s site doesn’t even mention a restaurant at all.  The feeling from Council is this is a soft opening as all the drafts were not up yet.
