Defiant Brewery, Pearl River NY

In training for the U.K., Cobra and the Wiz plan to pay a visit today to Defiant Brewery in the Cobra's home town of Pearl River, NY (formerly known as Muddy Creek).

In a converted warehouse next to the train station, Defiant is short on atmosphere but that doesn't phase a steady parade of patrons who stop by for a quick one at the veeerrrry long while their growlers are refilled. On our last visit, Cobra scored with a sampling of the Muddy Creek Ale and a yummy porter. The Wiz was not as pleased with the O'Defiant Stout and IPA. The following day, we both sampled their cask-conditioned chocolate porter at Spuyten Duyvil in Brooklyn. Stay tuned for beer updates from England and Sweden if we can get to a computer. We will try to give our other Swedish correspondent some ideas before he leaves!
