Uncle PK's 50th at The Man of Kent

After a short five hour paddle down the spring snow melt swollen mighty Hoosick River with the birthday boy or man riding sedan chair style we head to The Man of Kent.

More about the Hoosick River trip @ www.livehamster.bloggspot.com

The Man O him self was there (John Stoate). Although the Man O no longer owns the place he still works the bar Monday thur Thursday. He now gets well deserved three day weekend off. The bar is now open 7 days a week.

The taps and bottles have changed very little under new owner ship. Some of the beers on were: Young's, Tetley's, Old Speckled Hen, Guinness, Boddington, Newcastle, Spaten, Brown's and the very well recived Well's Bombardier.

All the favs on the menu are there as well as many new idems. They have a full time cheff who has added daliy specials.
