Don’t judge The Ruck by its cover.

The ruck is a well-loved local watering hole and well-chewed college bar.  Well-worn but clean.  Between the locals and the college students The Ruck has enough traffic to keep 28 drafts in good rotation.  All the beer was fresh and the lines clean.
Owner Dave feels that 28 is a good number of knobs for The Ruck.  He says it assures he will have something in most styles and price range to keep a good steady rotation. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the wings are excellent.  If you are looking for a crowd go Friday or Saturday night.  If you are looking for a little more of a quiet  time to reflect on the fine selection of hand selected beers go Saturday or Sunday late afternoon.

Blind Tiger

On the corner of Jones and Bleecker in Manhattan is The Blind Tiger.  Great little craft beer bar with very good food.  Had the wild boar beanless chilly w/ a Avery Dugana.  The hops in the Dugana where a nice balance to the warmth of the chilly. Very nice.  The place is small and with a fire in the fireplace and the talk about beer and food.  Hard to believe this Manhattan.  Finished up w/ a Lagunitas Hop Stoopid on Cask.  How did I become such a hop head?

The F.X. Matt Brewery

If you love beer, and enjoy interacting with the public, we have an opportunity for you. The F.X. Matt Brewery is looking for energetic and ambitious people to help sample Saranac beer. Events and promotions are usually on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays in the late afternoon and evening. The pay is $10/hour. We're holding an open interview Friday, February 11 from 3pm-6pm at Washington Tavern located at 250 Western Ave, Albany. If interested, stop by and look for Brewery Representative Jessica to chat about our current openings. Remember, a love of craft beer is a must. Hope to see you there!

Can't someone from MAS help this Brewery.  They should be our Sierra.
